About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Evaluate and act on business and partnership opportunities to boost the organization’s development and profitability
  • Advise members, clients and stakeholders to help them position, plan, develop, execute and monitor strategic initiatives
  • Develop member, client and stakeholder retention tactics and strategies
  • Monitor the industry to understand and anticipate trends in the specialty area and make recommendations
  • Serve, prospect for, solicit, and develop and maintain business relationships with members and clients
  • Sell business products and services through multiple distribution channels based on member/client needs and current strategies and practices
  • Lead clients and practitioners on sales and service development projects, initiatives and activities impacting multiple business sectors
  • Analyze highly complex problems and develop and implement personalized solutions tailored to client needs
  • Serve as a specialist and resource person for the unit, members and clients
  • Represent the unit before decision-making bodies
  • Help represent Desjardins and enter the organization into important agreements with clients

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of six years of relevant experience
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of French is required
