About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work closely with account managers to maintain business relationships with members and clients through sales support activities
  • Complete documentation following appointments, obtain signatures, answer operational questions, open accounts, and present and close sales of products and services
  • Direct and assist members and clients in using products and services
  • Help prioritize weekly activities for account managers and plan follow-ups and solicitation activities
  • Contact members and clients to confirm planned transactions and make courtesy calls upon request
  • Help prepare and deliver presentations targeted at members and clients and follow up as needed
  • Contribute to business development through solicitation activities
  • Build strong business relationships, identify needs, ensure satisfaction, and maximize sales opportunities
  • Keep files up to date and ensure they are complete and compliant with deadlines and quality standards
  • Respect policies, practices, and standards for secure transactions and operations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Attestation of Collegial Studies
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience
  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Ability to create financial statements
  • Knowledge of products and services for businesses and those offered by caisses, components and Desjardins distribution networks and those of the competition
  • Ability to enter financial data in the systems
  • Knowledge of financing and credit management practices related to businesses
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements for regulations on the distribution of financial products and services
  • Understanding of the philosophy and inner workings of a financial services cooperative
  • Knowledge of the procedures associated with opening accounts and selling complementary products and services
