About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide personalized member/client service and experience to clients with complex needs
  • Identify member and client needs and propose personalized, effective solutions
  • Seize business opportunities and provide personalized advice for business development
  • Work with the advisor to manage member and client files, open accounts, prepare meetings and follow up on requests
  • Execute all member and client banking account operations
  • Inform members and clients about digital solutions and equip them to interact with Desjardins using their preferred method
  • Help manage the advisor's agenda and emails
  • Build knowledge of Desjardins products and services and competitors' offers
  • Create offers for routine financial transactions and sales support based on affluent and high-net-worth client needs
  • Support advisors through transactional and operational activities related to financial services

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Attestation of Collegial Studies
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Mutual fund representative certificate – Autorité des marchés financiers
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Understand financial documents used in the field of wealth management
  • Knowledge of all products and services available to caisse members and those offered in Desjardins business centers, the components and in the Desjardins distribution networks
  • Integration of financial data into systems
  • Notions of compliance with legislation respecting the distribution of financial products and services
  • Good grasp of the philosophy and fundamentals of a financial services cooperative
  • Knowledge of operational procedures for financing and investment activities
  • Knowledge of operational procedures for convenience services and products as well as automated and assisted transactions
  • Knowledge of operational procedures for opening accounts, selling complementary products and services
  • Knowledge of Desjardins business processes, including sales, solicitation and negotiation processes
