About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Monitor the internal control system
- Ensure supervisory controls are completed and be responsible for execution quality
- Complete certain supervisory controls and reporting
- Liaise with relevant Desjardins components
- Support the senior compliance officer in monitoring activities for the distribution of investment products and reporting, if applicable
- Manage operational risk activities, including risk and control self-assessment, operational losses, business continuity planning and information security
- Help managers identify and implement corrective measures
- Ensure activities related to money laundering and terrorist financing legislation (PCMLTFA) are carried out
- Comply with policies, practices and standards, as well as legislation governing the distribution of financial products and services
- Assist clients and partners and interact with stakeholders working in other fields
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of one year of relevant experience
- Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Advanced proficiency of French, both oral and written
