About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Complete strategic assessments, develop scenarios and solve unique and complex problems that impact the entire organization
  • Develop and implement business practices that meet clients’ complex business needs while honouring Desjardins’s commitments and acting in accordance with Desjardins’s priorities
  • Design solutions that meet highly complex needs, recommend implementation strategies and priorities, and coordinate the delivery of work
  • Develop implementation oversight mechanisms for innovative solutions
  • Assist with highly complex strategic initiatives and serve as subject matter leader
  • Lead and influence large-scale organizational and market initiatives while liaising with stakeholders
  • Serve as expert advisor and subject matter expert for senior management and decision-making bodies
  • Represent and negotiate on behalf of Desjardins and enter the organization into agreements with external partners

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of eight years of relevant experience
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
