About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare, analyze, disclose and monitor financial statements for financial, statutory, regulatory and strategic reporting
  • Lead specialized accounting and financial reporting initiatives
  • Perform, validate and analyze accounting and financial transactions while ensuring data completeness and compliance
  • Identify, input, analyze and interpret data to inform management decision-making and monitor policies and practices
  • Analyze risks, write reports, prepare recommendations and advise on implementation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Ability to lead specialized accounting and financial reporting initiatives
  • Knowledge of accounting policies and standards
  • Ability to analyze accounting and financial transactions and data
  • Ability to analyze risks and prepare reports and recommendations
  • Ability to develop methods and processes
