About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the immediate supervisor with work organization, operational planning, and special initiatives
  • Develop, implement, and track the unit’s action plan
  • Align the unit’s action plan with organizational strategic orientations and other administrative units
  • Establish management and communication practices supporting change management, talent attraction and retention, skills development, employee engagement, and diversity
  • Define and implement activities related to the unit’s services
  • Ensure entrusted projects are completed to maximize business results and member/client satisfaction
  • Manage individual and team performance
  • Continuously improve management processes under responsibility
  • Promote Desjardins Group’s cooperative values
  • Represent the organization and conduct business intelligence
  • Produce reports and oversee member/client satisfaction

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of nine years of relevant experience, including five years in a management role
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • PMI Certification
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Intermediate advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
  • Ability to support work organization, operational planning, special initiatives, action plans, performance management, talent development, change management, and diversity initiatives
