About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the department and manage a team dedicated to selling products and services and/or providing comprehensive sales support to sales teams
  • Build and maintain long-term business relationships with clients and members
  • Draw up and monitor a business plan addressing priorities, challenges and objectives
  • Ensure unit performance and sound and prudent risk management in accordance with standards
  • Follow up on results and manage employees’ performance
  • Oversee employees’ skills development and maintain high-quality service
  • Coach team members and provide recommendations based on member and client needs
  • Help develop business strategies aligned with Desjardins’s strategic priorities and unit challenges
  • Ensure service quality, business relationships and the member/client experience
  • Implement and monitor action plans to achieve target results
  • Lead, coach and motivate the team to develop skills, boost engagement and empower employees
  • Implement and develop a competitive, profitable service offer with partnerships across the organization
  • Ensure process efficiency, continuous improvement and profitability

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of French is required
