About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the department and manage the team dedicated to selling products and services and/or providing comprehensive sales support
- Build and maintain long-term business relationships with clients and members
- Develop and monitor a business plan addressing priorities, challenges and objectives
- Ensure unit performance and sound, prudent risk management
- Manage employee performance, skills development and service quality
- Coach team members and provide recommendations based on member and client needs
- Support development of business strategies aligned with Desjardins’s strategic priorities
- Manage the member/client experience and quality of services and business relationships
- Implement and monitor action plans to achieve target results
- Lead talent acquisition, team synergy, change management, engagement and employee empowerment
- Develop a competitive, profitable service offer and partnerships
- Ensure process efficiency, continuous improvement and profitability
- Promote the Desjardins brand and strengthen community roots
- Uphold Desjardins’s cooperative values
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of four years of relevant experience
- Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Knowledge of French is required
