About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, implement and manage a line of high-performing products meeting member and client needs
  • Develop, price, improve, implement and promote products based on member, client and distribution-network needs, market trends and Desjardins Group’s target position
  • Lead and influence specialists and stakeholders on cross-sector, highly innovative development projects and complex strategic initiatives
  • Make recommendations on strategic initiatives with a very high degree of operational and conceptual complexity
  • Develop and recommend business directions and positions for responsible products
  • Improve the product offer based on member and client needs, business priorities and market developments
  • Define the target vision and mid- to long-term roadmap for the product line
  • Monitor competition and market developments, identify opportunities, anticipate business impacts, and implement strategies
  • Provide leadership in defining product directions and represent the target client experience
  • Monitor commercial results and financial performance to optimize the offer
  • Manage operational, reputational and financial risks associated with the product offer
  • Establish compliance frameworks and make recommendations to decision-making bodies
  • Represent the team’s position to senior management, partners and external organizations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of eight years of relevant experience
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Business insight
  • Strategic mindset
