About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve, prospect for, solicit, and develop and maintain business relationships with members and clients
  • Sell securities products and services through various distribution channels based on member/client needs and current strategies and practices
  • Focus on discretionary management, mutual funds, exchange-traded funds and structured products
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with important clients
  • Promote and sell products and services in accordance with business objectives and strategies
  • Balance sales objectives, sound and prudent risk management, profitability and member/client satisfaction
  • Analyze member/client needs, develop and implement personalized solutions, and present integrated service offers
  • Advise and assist current and potential members and clients
  • Set goals and advise members and clients on the best solutions and strategies
  • Collect, compile and analyze data; prepare reports and recommendations
  • Oversee portfolios, assess customer satisfaction and service quality, and make improvements as needed
  • Monitor the industry for trends, opportunities and best practices
  • Liaise with and serve as resource person for external fund providers; share information with investment advisors
  • Represent Desjardins and enter the organization into important agreements with clients
  • Establish and negotiate product and service terms

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of French is required
