About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify, analyze, eradicate and mitigate threats to Desjardins's systems, networks and applications
- Analyze security incidents and determine their scope, impact and origin
- Collect data from a variety of defence tools
- Perform ongoing monitoring and interpret, analyze and report events and anomalies in accordance with guidelines
- Carry out risk assessments and tests to analyze vulnerabilities
- Develop and recommend mitigation measures to strengthen Desjardins's security posture
- Advise and assist clients and partners on major security-related initiatives and development projects
- Help resolve major security incidents, detect vulnerabilities and protect systems and networks
- Propose solutions to improve or optimize standards, policies and programs
- Prepare recommendations, solutions and action plans based on organizational objectives and priorities
- Diagnose issues, challenges and needs related to IT security, vulnerability, compliance and incident management
- Examine, handle, resolve and log security events that pose an internal threat
- Develop and help implement objectives, solutions, action plans and intervention plans
- Analyze data, conduct studies, make recommendations and write reports
- Coordinate with stakeholders working in other technology fields
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of four years of relevant experience
- Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Knowledge of French is required
- Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
