About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the development of comprehensive business plans across consumer and business portfolios
- Develop forecasts for consumer and business portfolios, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic objectives
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews with senior stakeholders, providing insights on performance, risks, and opportunities
- Coordinate projects to drive closure of variances identified through KPI reviews and follow through on activities to improve performance
- Improve the efficiency and profitability of activities to achieve execution-plan targets
- Identify initiatives to generate revenue, reduce costs, and increase efficiency
- Ensure ongoing compliance with provincial and federal regulatory obligations
- Strengthen Collabria’s federal partner support framework for strategic regulatory engagement
- Lead monthly Federal Working Group meetings on compliance priorities
- Collaborate with internal teams and credit union partners to design and implement action plans addressing requirements
- Monitor and analyze changes in federal laws and regulations and recommend proactive, risk-informed strategies
- Ensure non-conformities are addressed through mitigation measures or formally accepted internal risk-taking for new and relaunched products
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of eight years of relevant experience
- Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Advanced experience in business planning and forecasting
- Experience in delivery and execution of mandates
- Intermediate French is required due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with French-speaking team members
- Advanced English is required due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
- Advanced knowledge of the banking and payments industry
- Advanced knowledge of the credit card services domain, specifically its regulatory environment
