About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Help data producers and users understand how to valorize data for the benefit of members and clients, in keeping with sound data governance
  • Serve as a specialist advisor to teams in developing and applying data management processes and controls
  • Develop, operationalize and improve standards, processes, tools and best practices related to data governance foundations
  • Coordinate identification of the sector's data governance needs and opportunities
  • Help the sector analyze risks and potential gaps between governance documents and operational practices
  • Oversee development and implementation of practices and mechanisms to ensure compliance with data governance documents
  • Coordinate, monitor, measure and communicate performance of standards and practices, including changes in data governance maturity
  • Lead projects related to the development of data governance
  • Interact with stakeholders across a wide range of fields to understand issues and influence decision making
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, resource person and coach for decision-making bodies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of six years of relevant experience
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of French is required
