About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design IT solutions for large-scale projects and programs using Desjardins Group’s architecture targets and shared platforms
Ensure consistency with organizational structure, current and future needs, and compatibility with existing architecture
Lead and influence business partners and stakeholders on innovative, complex strategic initiatives related to solution architecture
Provide expertise across data, applications, security, and infrastructure
Recommend IT development and implementation strategies compliant with architecture targets
Produce specialized deliverables for highly complex projects and initiatives
Serve as an expert advisor on application solutions and operations architecture and as an integrator for delivery teams
Advise, plan, develop, execute, and monitor strategic initiatives
Organize, manage, and deliver guidance on technical subjects requiring stakeholder consensus
Develop and update policies, standards, architecture targets, and supporting foundations
Identify and analyze potential IT solutions and issues; report major issues
Establish guidelines and make recommendations to decision-making bodies and committees
Represent the unit before senior management committees and decision-making bodies
Represent and negotiate on behalf of Desjardins and enter agreements with external partners and organizations
Serve as a resource person and coach for senior management and decision-making bodies

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in a related field
A minimum of eight years of relevant experience
Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
Proficiency of French is required
