About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide user support and assistance for IT applications, including installation, configuration, best practices, issue resolution, service request management, and IT and technical incident management
Help keep IT equipment up and running, particularly through server administration
Lead complex and innovative development projects and strategic initiatives
Make recommendations on the planning and execution of operationally and conceptually complex projects and initiatives
Coordinate with stakeholders across many fields
Serve as specialist advisor, subject matter expert, resource person, and coach for decision-making bodies
Lead specialized development projects, initiatives, and activities impacting the entire organization
Advise clients and partners on positioning, planning, development, execution, and monitoring of complex projects and initiatives
Develop and update policies, standards, models, and programs
Identify, analyze, and diagnose major issues and make recommendations to decision-making bodies
Represent the unit before decision-making bodies
Represent Desjardins’s position in agreements with external partners and organizations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in a related field
A minimum of six years of relevant experience
Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
Knowledge of French is required
Intermediate advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
