About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and improve business processes and operations based on business models and organizational structures to boost operational efficiency
  • Lead and influence development projects and complex, highly innovative strategic initiatives involving multiple sectors
  • Develop and recommend strategic directions and business positions
  • Make recommendations on the planning and execution of operationally and conceptually complex projects and initiatives
  • Establish product backlogs for projects, mandates and development activities specific to the field of expertise and squads
  • Advise and assist clients and partners with positioning, planning, development, performance and follow-up of strategic mandates
  • Oversee the development and updating of policies, standards, models and programs
  • Identify and analyze problems, develop diagnostics and make recommendations regarding business solutions and market-development strategies and tactics
  • Coach other product owners
  • Represent the unit in dealings with senior management committees and decision-making bodies
  • Represent Desjardins when negotiating and committing to agreements with partners and external organizations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of eight years of relevant experience
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of French is required
