About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Evaluate and act on business and partnership opportunities to boost the organization’s development and profitability
  • Advise members, clients and stakeholders to help them position, plan, develop, execute and monitor strategic initiatives
  • Develop, retain and ensure the satisfaction of members, clients and stakeholders
  • Develop retention tactics and strategies
  • Monitor the industry to understand and anticipate trends in the field and make recommendations
  • Serve, prospect for, solicit, and develop and maintain business relationships with members and clients
  • Provide service tailored to client needs in accordance with current strategies and practices
  • Lead and influence clients and practitioners on sales and service development projects, initiatives and activities impacting the organization
  • Develop and maintain business partnerships with prestige and key clients with complex, diverse needs
  • Analyze complex problems and develop and implement personalized solutions tailored to client needs
  • Serve as an expert for the unit, members and clients
  • Represent the unit before senior management committees and decision-making bodies
  • Represent Desjardins and enter the organization into important agreements with clients
  • Establish and negotiate product and service terms

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of eight years of relevant experience
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
