About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Transform and analyze complex, large-scale data to extract knowledge for security decision-making
- Explore and evaluate data availability and quality for detection, response and prevention needs
- Design diagnostic, predictive, prescriptive and cognitive data analysis approaches with risk experts
- Implement, evaluate, document and monitor artificial intelligence solutions for security operations teams
- Contribute to industrialization and development of security analytics methodologies
- Participate in research projects with industry and academic partners
- Identify, evaluate and prioritize data valorization opportunities
- Define solutions and develop an analytical roadmap aligned with Desjardins Group’s business plan and strategic vision
- Ensure delivery teams are aligned on the design and development of highly complex analytical solutions
- Support, maximize and automate security decision-making using artificial intelligence
- Improve analytics practices within the Desjardins Group Security Office
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in machine learning, computer science, statistics, mathematics or a related field
- A minimum of six years of relevant experience in quantitative analysis or modelling
- Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Experience developing and implementing artificial intelligence solutions
- Knowledge of French is required
- Intermediate knowledge of English
- Expertise with data science methodologies and their limitations, including machine learning, statistics and artificial intelligence
- Expertise in Python programming, including scikit-learn, pyspark, pandas, numpy, scipy and langchain
- Experience with analytical product development practices, including git, mlflow and MLOps concepts
- Proficiency in Apache Spark via pyspark or scala; knowledge of Databricks
- Proficiency in deep learning techniques and frameworks, including keras, tensorflow and pytorch
- Proficiency in generative AI development approaches, including LLMs, RAGs and prompt engineering
- Knowledge of security data, including application logs and transaction logs
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure
- Professional knowledge of a security sub-area
- Familiarity with plain language techniques for communicating information through speech and writing
