About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the caisse's computer equipment, IT systems and technological equipment
  • Provide technological support to users
  • Perform MIC platform administration, including server shutdown and start-up, automatic system operation verification, access group management, backup unit maintenance and file recovery
  • Perform basic network activities, including password reactivation, new-user configuration and regular maintenance procedures
  • Manage desktops, laptops, printers, telephone systems, office phones, cell phones and alarm systems
  • Produce and transmit reports concerning problems encountered and perform follow-up activities
  • Compile statistics and data regarding service-standard observance
  • Inform Help Desk Services of required computer-equipment changes
  • Activate, configure, maintain and repair systems and technological equipment
  • Analyze equipment needs, propose solutions and acquisition/disposal procedures, and perform follow-up
  • Act as an IT and technology expert for users, optimize their use of systems and equipment, solve problems, refer complex issues and follow up
  • Develop and propose simple training activities for users
  • Participate in planning and implementing desktop-system deployments and upgrades
  • Apply computer-security standards, procedures, advice and recommendations
  • Oversee technical information flows required for platform operation
  • Manage and update Web and platform applications, profiles, standardized groups and user IDs
  • Manage application licences and associated costs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • College diploma in a related field
  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
