About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist wholesaling teams with business development efforts
  • Work closely with the national inside sales manager on sales reporting and territory management
  • Assist members and clients and maintain business relationships
  • Facilitate access to Investment Advisors and branches within the defined sales territory
  • Schedule and confirm one-on-one meetings and branch presentations
  • Respond to basic inquiries from advisors and maintain current CRM records
  • Maintain regular contact with Investment Advisors via telephone, mail, email, FAX, and conference calls
  • Plan and organize client appreciation events with Marketing
  • Assist RSD/RSC in strengthening relationships through business promotion activities
  • Administer dealer support requests and manage the co-op marketing process
  • Ensure compliance with National Instrument 81-105 Mutual Fund Sales Practice Rules and Desjardins policies and procedures
  • Coordinate sales and marketing activities, service issues, meeting preparation, promotional items, marketing materials, and sales lead follow-up programs
  • Assist with investment proposals, portfolio comparisons, and product comparisons

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • College diploma in a related field
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • IFIC mutual funds course or CSC
  • Basic knowledge of business, sales and/or marketing
