About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Continuously monitor and analyze international energy markets, particularly LNG, natural gas, and green alternatives
- Derive recommendations for the design of market offerings
- Develop tools for the systematic assessment of security of supply in Germany
- Develop and lead strategic projects for the utilization and transformation of terminal sites
- Support Europe-wide concept studies and derive specific projects from their findings
- Prepare market analyses and reports on demand, price formation, and supply structures
- Develop tools to assess gas supply diversification, market potential, and geopolitical influencing factors
- Support marketing activities through organizational preparation and performance analysis
- Develop strategic partnerships
- Coordinate studies and tenders relating to terminal development and green infrastructure
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders as well as external partners and consultants
- Quantify capacity development for LNG terminals in Germany and internationally
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed degree in economics, engineering, or energy economics
- Several years of professional experience or a strong interest in market analysis, the energy sector, and strategic project work
- Experience leading projects
- Strong analytical thinking
- Enjoyment of working with numbers, market models, and market metrics
- Ability to assess geopolitical developments and translate them into market-related recommendations
- Structured, conceptual approach to work, with experience in project management
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex topics clearly and understandably
- Excellent written and spoken German and English
