About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and deliver responsive React and TypeScript user interfaces
Identify and resolve barriers to business deliveries
Implement solutions that iteratively deliver value
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners and fellow technologists on robust system designs
Implement and share software development best practices across the React front end and Java back end
Partner with teams to advance test automation strategies
Work with DevOps to enhance continuous improvements
Contribute to software components and architecture that support the wider Trade Finance application landscape

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong hands-on experience building production user interfaces with React, TypeScript and modern JavaScript
Reusable component design, state management, API integration and automated front-end testing experience
Practical experience contributing to Java back-end applications
Knowledge of Core Java, standard libraries, industry-standard frameworks and design patterns
Experience developing or integrating APIs used by front-end applications
Experience translating UX and Figma designs into accessible, responsive and maintainable web interfaces
Solid understanding of the modern SDLC tool stack, including Bitbucket, Jira, Artifactory and TeamCity
Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and optimise workflows
Critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs
