About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Interpret, analyze, and execute the Bank’s international assignment and international business traveler frameworks
- Manage vendor relationships and support delivery of international mobility solutions
- Serve as a trusted advisor and escalation point for cross-border HR matters in the US/Americas region
- Partner with HR Business Partners, Business Advisors, Recruiters, and HR vendors
- Support long-term and short-term assignments, permanent transfers, international new hires, and international business travelers
- Provide advisory support to internal stakeholders on cross-border HR matters and support the HRI process
- Advise HR, managers, and stakeholders on relocation frameworks and business traveler policies
- Manage day-to-day mobility cases for expatriate and local-to-local employees
- Respond to employee, manager, and HR partner queries and escalations related to tax, immigration, housing, medical coverage, and assignment benefits
- Support deferred compensation and year-end mobility processes
- Partner on assignment-specific compensation matters
- Partner with tax advisors, payroll, and HR Reward teams to mitigate risk and ensure accurate reporting and compliance
- Advise and educate the Americas HR community on international mobility developments, including tax, social security, immigration, and employment law
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree
- Moderate experience in HR, payroll, immigration, and/or business traveler compliance
- Experience working in a multinational environment and navigating complex, matrixed organizations
- Experience working with external vendors such as immigration counsel, tax providers, and relocation partners
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Advanced Excel skills preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail oriented
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and build strong partnerships across stakeholders
- Project management skills
- Process improvement mindset
- Must work in the Jacksonville, FL or New York City office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model
