About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Organize and coordinate service, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting activities for Siemens wind turbines
- Perform remote fault resolution and handle complex technical issues in second-level support
- Plan and coordinate personnel, materials, external service providers, and subcontractors
- Carry out and support repair work on electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and control systems
- Work closely with technical support, internal teams, and other project stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and customer requirements, while ensuring cost-effective use of resources
- Represent the company to customers and project partners
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed technical or electrical vocational training, e.g., as an Electronics Technician, Electrician, or Mechatronics Technician
- Further training as a master craftsperson or state-certified technician is preferred
- Several years of professional experience in the wind energy sector, preferably in the service, maintenance, or troubleshooting of Siemens wind turbines
- Good knowledge of control and automation technology, hydraulics, power electronics, and mechanics
- Structured, independent working style, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Team player with strong communication skills and assertiveness
- Willingness to travel and flexibility
- Fit for working at heights (G41 medical certification)
- Class B/BE driving licence
- Good command of English
- Switching authorization up to 36 kV is preferred
