About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on wind turbines
- Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical and hydraulic faults
- Support inspections, troubleshooting and root cause analyses
- Complete service reports, work orders and maintenance documentation
- Report incidents and completed work according to HSE procedures
- Follow customer-specific procedures and site regulations
- Work safely in accordance with company and industry standards
- Collaborate closely with fellow technicians and support teams
- Participate in the on-call rotation, including weekends and public holidays
- Maintain and repair wind turbines to ensure maximum availability and reliability
Requirements
What you’ll need- An MBO Level 3/4 qualification in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent technical background
- At least 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably within wind energy or a comparable technical environment
- Experience working with low and high voltage installations
- BA4/BA5, NEN 3140 or NEN 3840 certification, or the willingness to obtain these
- A good command of English
- A valid Category B driving licence
- Basic computer skills and experience with MS Office
- A practical, proactive and solution-focused approach
- A strong commitment to safety and quality
- The physical ability to work at height
- Flexibility to travel between different wind farms
- Residence within approximately 40 km of Ghent or Brussels
- Only candidates with a valid work and residence permit for Belgium can be considered
