About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own a book of strategic accounts
  • Serve as the main post-sale contact for the highest-value digital health and pharmacy customers
  • Agree on success criteria with each account and track them
  • Run QBRs connecting platform performance, approval rates, and turnaround time to customer goals
  • Identify at-risk accounts using usage and support data and execute turnaround plans
  • Own renewals and identify expansion opportunities such as increased volume or new sites
  • Partner with account executives when expansion requires a commercial conversation
  • Represent customer patterns and impact to product and engineering
  • Handle complex escalations and route other issues to the appropriate person
  • Convert successful account practices into reusable templates and team processes
  • Help define account-health scoring and intervention criteria

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years in a post-sale, account-owning role (Customer Success, Account Management, Strategic AM) with a named book of business
  • Demonstrated retention and growth, including renewals, NRR, saves, or volume growth on owned accounts
  • B2B experience with company customers
  • Experience proactively managing accounts, including account plans, success criteria, health scoring, and QBRs
  • Comfort reading dashboards and turning changes into action plans
  • Executive presence and comfort running meetings with a customer's COO or head of pharmacy
  • Ability to quickly learn prior authorization, benefit verification, PBMs, and payers
  • Ability to quickly learn customers' businesses and the product
  • Bonus: account management at a health-tech company selling to providers, telehealth companies, or pharmacies
  • Bonus: account management at a pharma manufacturer or pharma services company
  • Bonus: experience building a CS or AM function at an early-stage startup
  • Bonus: women's health, GLP-1, or weight-management telehealth accounts
  • Bonus: experience with CS tools such as Pylon, Gainsight, or Vitally, or light SQL
