About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform, including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, and networking services
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform
Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build and other automation tools
Implement containerization strategies using Docker and Kubernetes
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure and application performance issues
Establish and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting systems
Collaborate with development teams to optimize deployment strategies and cloud resource utilization
Implement security best practices and compliance standards across cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines
Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and runbooks
Participate in on-call rotation for incident response and resolution

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of professional experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or systems administration roles
Advanced proficiency with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and architecture
Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code tools, particularly Terraform
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows
Solid understanding of Linux/Unix system administration and command-line tools
Experience with monitoring and logging solutions, including Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, and ELK stack
Knowledge of cloud security best practices, identity management, and compliance frameworks
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Experience with version control systems, particularly Git
Familiarity with Python, Bash, or Go
Preferred: Experience with multi-cloud environments or hybrid cloud architectures
Preferred: Knowledge of DevOps methodologies and agile practices
Preferred: Relevant cloud certifications, such as Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Data Engineer
