About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee practice operations for Devoted Medical Group’s home-based and virtual telehealth medical group
Build clinical infrastructure for Devoted Medical in Yavapai County with clinical leadership
Ensure operations run smoothly and efficiently
Hire, train, onboard, and manage Yavapai DMG staff
Implement back-office infrastructure, including the electronic health record, fax line, and visit scheduling systems
Procure clinical and non-clinical resources
Design and implement daily workflows, logistics, and operating procedures
Contact prospective patients to introduce them to DMG services
Schedule clinical visits efficiently to minimize clinician driving time
Track clinical, financial, and operational performance and drive continuous improvement
Improve member satisfaction
Communicate frequently with team members and leadership
Assist clinical leadership with scaling to other markets as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need

Licensed RN, NP, PA, or MD, RPh, or PharmD
Ability to work in a startup, fast paced environment
2+ years of experience building or operating a medical group
Experience running a home-based practice or risk-bearing primary care practice is especially valued
Understanding of managed care, including appropriately assessing Stars/HEDIS measures and identifying clinical care gaps, is a plus
Skills to manage schedules, logistics, purchasing, and day-to-day business operations
Experience managing both clinical and non-clinical colleagues
Experience managing a profit & loss statement and building financial models
Experience scaling an organization
Management experience related to healthcare operations, or an MBA or equivalent experience
Bilingual Spanish speakers or candidates with strong cultural competencies across a range of cultures are especially of interest
