About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and evolve the service-line vision, including expansion into AI-enabled digital channels
Serve as clinical architect of the care model
Provide direct patient care and clinical escalations
Lead clinical managers and indirectly the Care OnDemand clinical staff, including RNs, NPs, and MDs
Build the team and operation for acute and routine member needs
Lead Care OnDemand, Primary Care Extension, and Virtual Observation Unit services
Manage vendors and technology, including mobile radiology and mobile phlebotomy
Coordinate with network leaders and community primary care practices for continuity of care
Coordinate cross-functionally within Devoted to promote service-line utilization
Operate and scale a 24/7 virtual-first care service

Requirements

What you’ll need

Board-certified physician; emergency medicine, internal medicine, or family medicine preferred
5+ years in clinical practice
Willingness to continue practicing in a virtual care setting
Experience leading and managing clinicians, including advanced practice providers
Experience building or scaling a clinical program or service line
Comfort working with engineering, product, and data teams
Experience designing interventions to improve population health outcomes
Understanding of how to measure and track care quality
Experience working in interdisciplinary teams across clinical and non-clinical functions
Experience with virtual care, Medicare populations, or urgent care preferred
