About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Teach undergraduate and graduate students in practitioner-focused courses
- Facilitate student learning in accordance with DeVry University requirements
- Develop course syllabi and lesson plans
- Apply teaching techniques to achieve course and programmatic objectives
- Organize, prepare, revise, and update course materials
- Use online technologies and course-related software, including websites, email, and online discussions
- Model effective oral and written communication
- Publish course objectives, assignment and examination dates, and evaluation weighting

- Prepare and grade exams consistently and fairly

Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's degree required
- 18 graduate credit hours in the subject being taught
- Applicants must upload unofficial graduate-level transcripts
- Degree awarded by an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation, or by an international institution with equivalent accreditation
- Additional requirements driven by state licensing or accreditation considerations may apply
