About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Teach practitioner-focused undergraduate and graduate Project Management courses
- Facilitate student learning in accordance with DeVry University requirements
- Develop course syllabi and lesson plans
- Organize, prepare, regularly revise, and update course materials
- Use websites, email, online discussions, and course-related software to support course delivery
- Model effective oral and written communication
- Publish course objectives, assignment and examination dates, and evaluation weightings
- Ensure exams align with course terminal objectives
- Prepare and grade exams consistently and fairly
- Provide timely feedback to students
- Integrate responsible AI technologies into classroom teaching and learning
- Recognize, evaluate, and address student use of AI tools
- Complete other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- A Doctoral degree in Project Management is required, or a Doctoral degree in a related field with 15 graduate credit hours in Project Management
- PMP certification highly preferred
- Applicants must upload unofficial graduate-level transcripts
- Degrees must be awarded by an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation, or by an international institution with equivalent accreditation
- Additional requirements driven by state licensing or accreditation considerations may apply
- Requisite subject matter expertise
- Outstanding communication skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional development in instructional technology, digital literacy, and responsible AI practices
- Ability to recognize, evaluate, and address appropriate and inappropriate student use of AI tools
