About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and maintain scalable backend systems with Golang
  • Operate and support existing services, including ticket handling, incident debugging, and root-cause analysis using Splunk
  • Work within the client's pipeline environment using Tekton, Argo CD, and Red Hat OpenShift
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines to optimize software deployment
  • Monitor and improve system performance and reliability
  • Collaborate with the development team to resolve technical challenges
  • Participate in code reviews and promote best practices across the team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 3 years of proven professional project experience in Go development
  • Experience with Java is a strong advantage
  • Fluent German, at least C1 level
  • English alone is not sufficient for this role
  • Residence in Switzerland or a nearby border region is required; relocation is possible
  • Patience with processes in a public-sector environment
  • Experience with DevOps, ideally with Red Hat OpenShift
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Proactive and forward-thinking approach
  • Reliability and strong communication skills
  • Willingness to complete a technical interview including a preparation assignment and a live session without AI tools
