About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage all aspects of multiple small to midsize projects
  • Prepare strategic plans for project success
  • Coordinate all administrative and technical project efforts for efficient and cost-effective execution
  • Serve as primary client liaison to complete schedules, budgets and scope of work to the client’s satisfaction
  • Implement client projects through leadership of project teams
  • Manage scheduling, budgets, staffing and project set-up with clients, subcontractors, vendors and contractors
  • Prepare project proposals and negotiate contracts and fees
  • Track and manage project financial performance, including work plans, schedules, fees, billings and collections
  • Communicate project objectives, contract scope, terms and schedules to teams and clients
  • Mentor junior staff

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A minimum of 10 years technical expertise in commercial architecture is required
  • Demonstrated success as a project architect on a range of corporate project types
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field
  • Licensed or registered architect
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to manage budgets, staffing and project set-up with contractors, subcontractors and vendors
  • Ability to work effectively on multiple small to medium projects, set priorities and maintain schedules
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Excel, MS Project, Ajera and project management software
  • Construction Management skills
  • Working knowledge of building codes and CBC/ADA Accessibility requirements
  • Strong problem-solving ability
  • Detailing skills
  • Experience with local authorities having jurisdiction
  • Proficient in Autodesk Building Design Suite/Revit and newer, along with MS Office Suite
  • Participation in the preparation of proposals, including interviews and presentations
  • Unrestricted right to work in the United States
