About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administer Oracle databases supporting a cleared client program
- Support traditional Oracle database administration
- Work with CI/CD and database deployment pipelines
- Use configuration management and infrastructure automation tools
- Manage database changes and deployments
- Report onsite in Washington, DC or Sterling, VA approximately 1 to 2 times per quarter
Requirements
What you’ll need- Approximately 3 to 5 years of relevant database administration experience
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM related field
- Hands on Oracle database administration experience
- Ability to work a Saturday through Tuesday schedule, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Ability to report onsite in Washington, DC or Sterling, VA approximately 1 to 2 times per quarter
- Current residence in the Washington, DC metropolitan area (DC / MD / VA)
- Active security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions
- Experience with Ansible or Terraform for configuration management and infrastructure automation
- Experience with Liquibase, Flyway, or similar database change management and deployment tools
