About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the end-to-end Credit to Cash functional architecture and target design across credit, billing hand-off, collections, cash application, deductions, disputes, AR and close
Lead current-state assessment, fit-gap analysis and solution blueprint development across markets, platforms and controls
Lead functional solution design and deployment of HighRadius Cash Application, Collections and Credit Management at Diageo
Design remittance capture, cash-application rules, matching logic, AI recommendations, unapplied-cash handling and exception processes
Design collection strategies, segmentation, worklists, dunning, promise-to-pay and dispute routing
Design credit applications, scoring models, credit limits, review cycles, blocked-order release and credit workflows
Define data flows, integrations, master-data requirements, reason codes, posting logic, financial controls, audit trails and SOX/internal-control requirements
Define KPIs and reporting including DSO, CEI, overdue, auto-match rate, unapplied cash, credit-decision cycle time and exception/resolution time
Act as design authority, reviewing requirements, specifications, configuration and test coverage from specialists, integrators and vendors
Define end-to-end test scenarios, lead SIT and UAT, resolve design-level defects, and support cutover, migration, deployment, hypercare and handover to run
Own the Credit to Cash functional roadmap and guide specialists across global and local teams and markets
Partner with Enterprise and Solution Architecture, Finance, Customer Operations, GBO, D&T, system integrators and vendors

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in Finance, Accounting, Business, IT or a related discipline
12+ years in Credit to Cash / Order to Cash transformation, solution design and consultancy
At least 5 years in a functional solution architect, solution lead or design authority role on large-scale, multi-market programmes
Functional lead or architect experience on at least two full-lifecycle HighRadius implementations covering Cash Application, Collections and/or Credit Management
Deep functional understanding of the end-to-end Credit to Cash value chain
Strong functional knowledge of SAP FI-AR and FSCM in S/4HANA or ECC
Experience defining functional integration with banks, lockbox/bank statement formats, EDI and third-party C2C platforms
Experience in business process transformation, current-state assessment, future-state operating model design, global template definition and multi-market rollout
Evidence of improving auto-match rates, DSO, overdue, exception volume or manual effort against a defensible baseline
Track record advising senior Finance and Operations stakeholders and directing system integrators and vendors
FMCG or Consumer Products experience is essential
Working knowledge of Diageo BPQMS standards
HighRadius certification and/or SAP S/4HANA FI-AR or FSCM certification preferred
Professional accounting or MBA qualification, solution-architecture, Agile/Scrum or Lean Six Sigma credentials are advantageous
Beer, Wine & Spirits experience strongly preferred
Experience with HighRadius modules or comparable C2C platforms, AI/machine learning, retained/GBO/BPO operating models, credit insurance, e-invoicing or multi-workstream delivery is desirable
