About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive the transformation of the European Procurement organization and shape its future operating model
- Lead and develop a team of four procurement professionals
- Review, streamline and continuously improve Procurement processes and workflows
- Establish a scalable and transparent Contract Management framework
- Define processes, responsibilities and governance for the contract lifecycle
- Ensure Procurement processes and supplier management support security, compliance and regulatory requirements, including NIS2 and ISO 27001
- Collaborate with Information Security, Legal, Finance, IT and other stakeholders
- Identify opportunities for automation, standardization and digitalization
- Develop and implement Procurement policies, standards and guidelines
- Establish KPIs and reporting structures for transparency and data-driven decision-making
- Strengthen supplier governance, documentation, risk assessment and monitoring
- Support strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations
- Act as sparring partner for the Senior Director Procurement and stakeholders across Europe
- Drive change initiatives from concept through implementation and sustainable adoption
Requirements
What you’ll need- Several years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Procurement Transformation or a related field
- Proven experience in leading teams and driving organizational change
- Strong understanding of Procurement processes, governance and Contract Management
- Experience designing, implementing or optimizing end-to-end procurement processes
- Familiarity with information security, compliance or regulatory requirements such as NIS2 and ISO 27001 is highly desirable
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to collaborate across Procurement, Legal, Finance, IT and Information Security
- Structured and analytical mindset with a strong hands-on approach
- Comfortable building new structures in an environment where not everything is defined
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex requirements into clear, practical processes
- Experience working in an international or European environment
- Excellent English skill
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe
