About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day interface between internal engineering/project teams and contract manufacturers
  • Support contract manufacturer and external supplier production schedules
  • Monitor supplier capacity, lead times, and build readiness; escalate constraints
  • Track purchase orders, material availability, and build completions against delivery dates
  • Coordinate NPI handoffs, documentation, BOM readiness, and process sign-off
  • Maintain supplier relationship health through structured cadences and issue tracking
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for hardware projects
  • Track action items, decisions, risks, and issues across workstreams
  • Facilitate or support project working sessions, agendas, minutes, and action items
  • Coordinate dependencies between engineering, operations, procurement, and quality teams
  • Support stage-gate preparation and governance milestones
  • Produce project status reports and schedule updates for program leadership
  • Contribute supply chain data to PMO dashboards and portfolio reporting
  • Maintain project documentation, schedule baselines, status reports, and decision logs
  • Identify and escalate cross-project supply chain conflicts and shared capacity constraints
  • Support continuous improvement of contract manufacturer coordination processes and PMO templates

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of proven experience within Project Management / Contract Manufacturer
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant or associated discipline
  • Leadership, decision-making and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work in a team and with different personality types
  • Resourcefulness and problem solving in service of project execution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, MS Project or similar Gantt charting software
  • Experience with Atlassian suite, including Confluence and Jira
  • Valid work authorization in the United States at the time of application
  • Visa sponsorship is not available
  • Desired but not required: experience within or alongside a PMO in a structured governance environment
  • Desired but not required: familiarity with stage-gate project management frameworks
  • Desired but not required: exposure to ERP or MRP systems such as NetSuite or SAP
  • Desired but not required: understanding of electronics, BOM structures, component lead time management, and contract manufacturer quoting processes
