About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Monitor, follow, and videotape subjects during their daily activities
Pursue subjects by vehicle and on foot while maintaining cover
Film subjects in varied locations, including grocery stores and sporting events
Develop pre-surveillance strategies based on setup location and case details
Write detailed reports on observed and captured activities
Submit video evidence
Communicate regularly with team leaders about setup positions, activity, and tactics
Travel to local and remote assignments, including overnight stays as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or GED
Must be 21 years or older
Must live in the state of California
50+ hours per week on average, including commute and drive time
Willingness to travel and stay overnight on remote assignments as needed
Availability to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays
Ability to start work as early as 5:00 am, with occasional evening work
Ability to pass DMV check and background check
Confident driving skills
Ability to work a five-day-per-week schedule averaging 10 hours per day
Ability to conduct covert investigations, monitor, follow, and videotape subjects
Detailed report-writing ability and video evidence submission
Regular communication with team leaders regarding setup positions, activity, and tactics
