About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct undercover surveillance on suspected fraud cases
- Adapt to changing environments with quick-thinking and disguises to collect video evidence of a subject's activity
- Work independently in the field with minimal supervision
- Update the Ops team by quick calls/texts
- Use video cameras frequently
- Maintain stakeout positions for extended periods
- Tail subjects by foot and vehicle
- Drive in urban, rural, and suburban communities, sometimes long distances, in all weather conditions
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Must currently live in Connecticut
- Open availability, including weekends and holidays (average 50 hours/week)
- Ability to start work as early as 5am daily with occasional work into the evenings
- Ability to pass DMV & background checks
- Confidence while driving and while being undercover in any environment
- Willingness to travel and stay overnight on remote assignments (as needed, all expenses paid)
- No PI license required
- No specialized training, credentials, or experience required
- Ability to drive long distances in urban, rural, and suburban communities, in all weather conditions
