About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plan, design, and implement Zscaler solutions (ZIA, ZPA, ZDX, ZCC) in customer projects
  • Design and implement Zscaler Branch Connect for secure SD-WAN-based branch connectivity
  • Migrate existing proxy, firewall, and MPLS infrastructures to the Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange platform
  • Implement network connectivity in IMO, FMO, and PMI carve-out scenarios
  • Provide technical customer consulting and architectural guidance for Zero Trust and SASE transformation projects
  • Conduct technical workshops, proofs of concept, and customer training both on-site and remotely
  • Create architecture documentation, operations manuals, HLD/LLD concepts, and handover documentation
  • Analyze and resolve complex incidents in the Zscaler environment as part of 2nd- and 3rd-level support
  • Manage escalations with Zscaler Support
  • Work closely with internal project teams, the Zscaler partner ecosystem, and customer-side stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Several years of proven experience implementing and operating Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA)
  • Strong knowledge of Zscaler Branch Connect, including Cloud Branch, forwarding profiles, location management, and SD-WAN integration
  • Solid understanding of Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), SASE architectures, and modern networking and security concepts
  • Experience with BGP, OSPF, IPSec/GRE tunnels, DNS, HTTP/S inspection, and split tunneling
  • Knowledge of integrating Zscaler with Azure, AWS, GCP, and hybrid cloud environments
  • Experience with Azure AD / Entra ID, Okta, SAML 2.0, and SCIM
  • Zscaler certification (ZCCA-IA, ZCCA-PA, or ZCCP) completed or in progress
  • Additional vendor certifications such as CCNP or PCNSE are an advantage
  • Experience in an IT consulting environment
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor when working with customers
  • Experience with carve-out and PMI projects is an advantage
  • High resilience and experience working on projects with tight deadlines
  • Very good German language skills (C1+) and good English language skills (B2+), both written and spoken
  • Willingness to travel for customer assignments
