About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assemble edits and complement notes from creatives and clients, incorporating feedback into assets
- Assist editors with project organization and asset management
- Ingest, format, and sync incoming raw footage
- Manage media, footage, and files for organized and accessible editing
- Edit social content, including stitching clips and adding subtitles
- Reformat video content for Instagram/Stories, Facebook, YouTube, and other social platforms
- Support production of low-lift social media assets and simple video clips
- Collaborate with Art Directors, Project Managers, Video Editors, Motion Designers, and Graphic Designers
- Oversee asset management from initial intake through final client delivery
- Perform additional tasks based on project needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Applicants must reside in the United States
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- 3+ years of experience with editing and creating video assets
- Experience in Output and Delivery processes, preparing elements for client or team editors
- Proficiency with Mac OS and Adobe Creative Cloud apps, including Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Media Encoder, and After Effects
- Experience with Final Cut and other third-party software when applicable
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing timelines and deliverables
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of editing workflows
- Availability Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm PST
- Availability for occasional nights and weekends
- Flexibility to work outside regular business hours or on weekends as needed
