About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administer Linux and Windows environments
- Handle incidents and service requests
- Manage patching, backups, and restores
- Participate in on-call rotations on a voluntary basis
- Write Bash/Python scripts and Ansible playbooks
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines
- Work with Git, including code reviews
- Deploy VMs using Proxmox
- Operate Docker and Kubernetes
- Improve monitoring
- Contribute to cloud and modernization projects
- Collaborate with Development, Product, and Support teams
- Maintain documentation in Confluence
- Track work items in Jira
Requirements
What you’ll need- Initial experience in infrastructure administration
- Strong command of Linux
- Good knowledge of Windows Server
- Bash or Python scripting
- Ansible
- Git (branches, pull requests, code reviews)
- Virtualization (Proxmox, KVM, etc.)
- Docker and basic knowledge of Kubernetes
- Production Kubernetes experience, databases, AD/Entra ID/LDAP, cloud experience, an interest in IaC and observability, and networking skills are a plus
- Curious, autonomous, and methodical
- Able to ask for help when necessary
- 2 to 5 years of experience
