About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate and participate in the sales, development, facilitation, implementation, and servicing of Cash Management services
- Provide customer service, troubleshoot issues, and support internal and external customers
- Research bill payments, Intuit/QuickBooks, and security-token issues
- Serve as subject matter expert and liaison for Dime Bank’s Cash Management products and services
- Manage and support timely setup, implementation, and initial training of new cash management customers
- Maintain consultative relationships with cash management customers
- Support onboarding of new customers across various systems
- Review signed agreements, credit underwriting standards, credit file limits, analysis and fee setup
- Support customers with ACH origination files, transaction exceptions, transmission errors, electronic services, account analysis, Remote Deposit Capture, Lockbox, Sweeps, Wires, Intrafi, Positive Pay, and system functionality
- Review daily Lockbox, Positive Pay, and ACH Origination exception items and communicate decisions to customers
- Prepare annual review documentation to ensure customer volumes align with approved risk limits
- Conduct daily reviews of Remote Deposit Capture deposits
- Analyze cash management product and service sales and service performance
- Support establishment of new or updated services for existing business cash management customers
- Assist with customer onboarding training
- Support the Cash Management Relationship Manager, Retail Banking Managers, and Commercial Loan Officers
- Assist in testing and implementing new products, services, updates, and releases
- Support Deposit Operations and Digital Banking with customers’ normal deposit banking activity
- Review cash management procedures and forms annually and recommend updates
- Back up daily ACH transaction-error and exception processing, including unauthorized-transaction returns, in accordance with regulatory guidelines and NACHA rules
- Maintain knowledge of federal and state laws, regulations, and bank policies
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations
- Perform other assigned job-related duties
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5-7 years banking experience in retail, business banking or operations system support
- Familiarity with cash management and electronic banking products and services, including deposit regulations
- Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and ability to work as a team player
- Practical experience with Microsoft Office/Network environment, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, internet cookies, and Excel spreadsheets
- Ability to interact positively and tactfully with customers and inspire confidence and trust
- Detail-oriented and well organized
- Ability to accept and adapt to change
- Knowledge of ACH rules and regulations recommended
- Proficiency in written and verbal communications
- Strict adherence to all bank policies
- General office environment and computer use
