Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the engineering team responsible for the client asset reporting platform and broader Sales Technology application ecosystem
Oversee design, development, delivery, modernization, and ongoing support of business-critical platforms serving the Global Client Group, Finance, and cross-functional stakeholders
Hire, coach, develop, and hold engineers accountable
Build technical capabilities and a culture of ownership and continuous improvement
Establish long-term direction for technology, architecture, engineering practices, and capabilities, including AI-assisted engineering
Remain sufficiently hands-on to understand the codebase, contribute when needed, and guide technical decisions
Use data and measurable outcomes to prioritize work, evaluate tradeoffs, improve team performance, and focus engineering effort on high-value priorities
Use operational data and engineering metrics to understand system health and improve application and service reliability, supportability, and operations
Ensure vulnerabilities, technical debt, lifecycle risks, controls, and other engineering risks are understood, prioritized, and addressed
Provide senior leadership and stakeholders with data-informed visibility into priorities, delivery, performance, risks, tradeoffs, and decisions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Demonstrated experience leading and developing software engineering teams, including coaching, performance management, and building technical capability
Strong software engineering background with technical judgment to guide architecture, engineering practices, operational reliability, and technical tradeoffs
Working knowledge of AI-assisted software engineering practices and emerging agentic development approaches
Hands-on development experience with C#/.NET, Microsoft SQL Server, and Snowflake
Ability and willingness to contribute directly to code when needed
Experience translating business and product priorities into engineering direction, priorities, and executable plans
Demonstrated ability to use data and metrics to understand performance, identify opportunities, and inform decisions
Experience leading teams responsible for production applications, including operational support, reliability, security, and vulnerability management
Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, including communicating technical topics, priorities, risks, and tradeoffs to senior leadership and non-technical audiences
Preferred: leading modernization of established applications, engineering practices, or technology platforms
Preferred: managing engineering teams supporting enterprise-scale, business-critical applications
Preferred: working in a regulated or highly controlled environment, including security, risk, audit, or compliance considerations
Preferred: introducing or scaling AI-assisted and agentic software engineering practices, including usage patterns, guardrails, and impact measures
Preferred: improving DevOps, CI/CD, observability, automated testing, and modern software delivery practices
Preferred: containerized applications and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes
Preferred: Python, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Linux
