About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and support client-facing HR, payroll, and benefits applications for PrismHR
  • Work alongside product managers, designers, architects, QA and DevOps engineers, and engineering managers
  • Build proficiency in languages, tools, and engineering patterns through training, pairing, and self-study
  • Write, test, debug, and document application code as part of the delivery team
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues, including production questions escalated to engineering
  • Work with data through queries, analysis, and reporting to support decisions
  • Research technologies and provide recommendations
  • Communicate progress and blockers clearly in team ceremonies
  • Take on increasing ownership as readiness develops

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Strong analytical aptitude and solid computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and databases
  • Ability to write and debug code in at least one language, demonstrated through coursework, internships, personal projects, or early professional work
  • Strong communication, including explaining concepts clearly to people who do not already understand them
  • Genuine appetite for continuous learning
  • Schedule availability from 3:00 PM–12:00 AM EAT, Monday to Friday
