About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide expert-level client support for UKG Ready HR Core and Benefits modules in a ticket-based environment
  • Review client tickets, gather requirements, and translate them into system updates or configurations
  • Troubleshoot HR Core configuration, Benefits Administration, Open Enrollment, workflows, permissions, security, and reporting issues
  • Configure medical, dental, vision, FSA, HSA, 401(k), and other client-specific benefit plans
  • Update and optimize HR settings, workflows, and security roles
  • Provide training to clients or internal teams on HR Core, Benefits, reporting, and workflows
  • Create documentation, job aids, and internal knowledge articles
  • Collaborate with Payroll and Implementation teams to resolve complex issues
  • Escalate technical issues while maintaining ownership of client communication
  • Participate in internal projects, system enhancements, testing initiatives, and process-improvement efforts
  • Assist during high-volume periods, Open Enrollment, and platform-wide changes
  • Represent the HRIS Support team in internal meetings or client calls when needed
  • Attend webinars and training and complete other assigned projects

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or related experience required, or equivalent combination of experience, skills, education, including relevant non-traditional degree programs or job training programs
  • 2–5 years of experience supporting or administering UKG Ready, with an HR/Benefits focus
  • Background in HRIS, HR operations, benefits administration, or related fields
  • UKG experience required
  • Hands-on UKG Ready experience
  • Strong understanding of HR operations and common benefit plan structures
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software: Outlook, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to learn other applications as needed
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, escalation management, and customer service abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Must be coachable, open to feedback, and willing to share process-improvement insights
  • Regular attendance at the assigned work location is required
