About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee and execute end-to-end payroll processes for assigned employee populations or clients
  • Ensure payroll accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to collect, validate, and process payroll data
  • Review new hires, terminations, compensation changes, and statutory deductions
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and international payroll regulations and company policies
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports, payslips, and related documentation
  • Assist with payroll audits, resolve discrepancies, and respond to payroll inquiries
  • Improve payroll processes, systems, and controls
  • Maintain confidentiality and data security of payroll information
  • Participate in payroll projects, system upgrades, and process improvement initiatives
  • Provide payroll subject matter expertise and support to colleagues and management
  • Manage relationships with in-country partners and payroll providers
  • Attend webinars and training
  • Complete projects and other duties assigned by the supervisor
  • Conduct presentations and employee training sessions
  • Present strategies and performance reports to executive leadership and stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Fluent in Hebrew, French or Spanish (spoken and written); mandatory requirement
  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred)
  • 2–4 years of relevant payroll or accounting experience
  • Broad European payroll exposure
  • Experience in multiple payroll environments, especially Denmark, Sweden, Spain and the Netherlands
  • Competency in computer operations, data entry, file management, and software platforms
  • Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and technical documentation
  • Advanced analytical abilities for complex payroll data
  • Strong organizational skills for managing multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Proficiency composing reports, correspondence, and documentation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and Excel
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders
  • Ability to work under supervision and independently with initiative and accountability
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, integrity, confidentiality, and commitment to continuous improvement
  • Ability to work from a quiet, secure home office with reliable internet when working remotely
