About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure availability and performance across hosting services
- Work with senior management to design and support new hosted services
- Automate manual work
- Enforce compliance standards
- Evolve configuration management
- Diagnose full-stack problems across network, authentication, SSL, and applications
- Own topology documentation
- Build and test disaster recovery
- Act as technical lead and mentor for the team
- Work 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time, Monday to Friday
- Participate in after-hours maintenance windows and an on-call rotation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's in Computer Science, MIS, or Engineering
- 7–10 years of relevant experience
- Deep Linux, Windows, database, and networking knowledge
- Experience with Puppet, Chef, or Ansible
- Experience with Docker and container infrastructure
- Experience with VMware and cloud infrastructure in a managed service environment
- Strong scripting skills
- Design-level expertise for SaaS platforms
- After-hours maintenance windows and on-call rotation
- SOC 2 experience strongly desired
- Certifications such as RHCSA/RHCE, MCSA/MCSE, or CCNA strongly desired
