About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own data pipes carrying benefits and payroll between systems
- Learn and support the existing EDI infrastructure
- Create new EDI files and maintain and extend existing integrations
- Analyze, design, and develop enhancements to EDI application interfaces and maps
- Document file structures and integration points
- Gather requirements and implement solutions with internal teams and external trading partners
- Troubleshoot live feeds for data accuracy and timely transmission
- Run EDI testing to identify configuration discrepancies
- Build tools and scripts to automate EDI setup and maintenance
- Mentor junior engineers
- Contribute to continuous improvement in Agile ceremonies
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6–10 years in EDI development, integration, and support
- Strong command of EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and protocols (AS2, FTP)
- Hands-on experience with EDI platforms: PrismHR Data Bridge, Sterling Integrator, Cleo, or similar
- Experience with C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, MVC, and SQL Server
- Experience with Azure, including serverless Functions and Logic Apps
- Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong documentation and partner-facing communication
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or Engineering preferred
- Schedule availability: 3:00 PM–12:00 AM EAT (8:00 AM–5:00 PM EST), Monday to Friday
